Simon Birchall, Lars Clausen, Andy Hicks, Marc Nash, Adrian Neal, Tom Robson, Peter Snell and Brendan Murphy congregate at the very famous finish line.

It is thanks to the tremendous efforts of our supporters that Fight for Sight can continue to fund vital research into the prevention and treatment of blindness and eye disease.

Andy Hicks, one of the cyclists, said: "It was Eric Snook, from the Fight for Sight committee in Bath, who planted the idea of fundraising for Fight for Sight and inspired me to put together the Magnificent Seven team for the London to Paris Cycle ride. My father suffers from an inherited eye disease and so we dedicated the ride to him. It was really motivating to know we were raising money to support research into these kind of eye conditions.

"I would recommend the cycle ride to anyone. It was well run, great fun and is suitable for all ages, shapes and sizes. Indeed I lost a stone in training!"
