Action for Blind People is an expert national organisation providing free and confidential support for blind and partially sighted people in all aspects of their lives. They offer practical support, advice, holiday breaks and children's sports clubs to visually impaired people throughout the UK.

The AMD Alliance International
The AMD Alliance International strives to bring knowledge, help and hope to individuals and families around the world affected by AMD.

Blindcare
Blindcare works to raise awareness of the benefits of payroll giving within all sectors of the economy and to highlight the work of their partner charities.

BRPS
The British Retinitis Pigmentosa Society is a self help group which seeks to help its members live with and overcome their visual problems and to bring relief by stimulating research into the causes and eventually the treatment of RP.

The IGA
The International Glaucoma Association is primarily a patient support and education charity, it also supports research into glaucoma, its causes detection and treatment.

The RNC
The Royal National College for the Blind is the UK's leading college for people who are blind or partially sighted.

RNIB
The RNIB's task is to challenge blindness. They challenge the disabling effects of sight loss by providing information and practical services to help people get on with their own lives.

Vision 2020 (UK)
Vision 2020 (UK) is an umbrella organisation of visual impairment charities in the UK. This site has links to all Vision 2020 UK Members whose concerted effort is designed to eliminate avoidable blindness by the year 2020.

Dollond & Aitchison are a chain of opticians throughout the UK and are currently working hard to raise a fantastic £100,000 for Fight for Sight. Fight for Sight Optometry Clinic
Fight for Sight Optometry Clinic is part of City University's Department of Optometry and Visual Science. This clinic was established with support from Fight for Sight and enables final-year optometrists to work in the same location as the scientists and clinicians at Moorfields Eye Hospital and the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology.

Moorfields Eye Hospital
Moorfields Eye Hospital is a postgraduate teaching hospital and a national centre for ophthalmic care.
