Double your Christmas donation
Fight for Sight is taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge. If you donate online between Monday 5 December and Friday 9 December your donation will be doubled by the Big Give.

Choroideremia - first clinical trial
Funding provided by Fight for Sight through the Tommy Salisbury Choroideremia Fund over the last five years has enabled a British team of researchers to lead the world in starting the first clinical trial for this blinding disease.

Keratoconus gene discovered
With Fight for Sight funding a team at Queen's University Belfast has identified a gene responsible for keratoconus, a disease of the cornea which leads to vision becoming blurred and distorted.
This is a vital step in understanding the disease and in developing new treatments.

Optician raises funds
Eye Emporium opticians are supporting Fight for Sight. Amongst their fundraising efforts they have donated 50p for every eye test carried out in November.
