Fight for Sight is the leading national charity dedicated to funding world-class research into the prevention and treatment of blindness and eye disease.
Most awards of funding are conditional upon there being an expected effective outcome which will be of significant or have potential benefit to people experiencing eye disease and vision loss. Some grants will be funded where research is at an early stage but may benefit those with eye disease in the future.
Most of Fight for Sight's grant money is allocated to research teams based in the UK and attached to recognised academic or medical institutions. The research may be undertaken in the UK or overseas.
