Help us build on the successes of 2009
December 2009
Dear Supporters
Groundbreaking success in 2009
This has been a challenging year for us all. Generating the funds needed to maintain an increasing level of vital research has not been easy. However, as a result of your generosity, we have been able to make great progress with research into more than 20 eye conditions, as well as embarking upon new research too. Thank you for your extremely valuable support.
Our Christmas newsletter details just some of the groundbreaking research successes we have seen this year.
It is vital that we continue to build on advances already made and so important that we can support even more research in 2010 and beyond.
Help us to continue this work
It is only through investing in the very best research that we will be able to continue to make progress in preventing and treating sight loss. Please, if you can, give a Christmas gift of whatever you can afford, to help so many people living with blindness and eye disease.
What better gift could they receive than an effective and lasting treatment for their eye condition? What better present could we give to future generations than a way to prevent blindness and eye disease from occurring at all? If you have an eye condition yourself you will know only too well what it is like to live without the full use of your sight and how very important our work is.
Without the necessary funds, our research simply can’t go ahead. This is why, no matter how small or large, your gift really will make an enormous impact on the lives of millions of people who stand to benefit from our work.
There are different ways to make your donation, including an online payment option:
Thank you for your support, I do hope we can continue to rely on your generosity this Christmas.
With very best wishes.
Yours sincerely
Christopher Moore
Chairman
PS. Your donation this Christmas really could help us to achieve a future without sight loss.
